Performance Built Ford 6T75 Transmission Sale
The 6T75 transmission was manufactured by both Ford and General Motors and was introduced in 2007. This Hydra-Matic six speed automatic transmission was featured in Buick, Cadillac, Chevy and Saturn cars and sport utility vehicles.
The 6T75 automatic six speed transmission has many features that deliver both fuel economy and performance. Clutch to clutch operation which reduces mechanical complexity with the feel of a smooth shift. This transmission has a low first gear which gives it great off the line acceleration while it utilizes its middle gears to evenly distribute torque. The 6T75 has overdrive in sixth gear to provide excellent fuel economy. The 6T75 has larger transfer gears and a five pinion input carrier with an aluminum case which allows it to handle more horsepower than the similar 6T70 transmission.
